Subscription Terms
Last updated: September 10, 2026
These terms apply to Savvy Time's one optional auto-renewing subscription service, called Savvy Time Pro in iOS version 1.2.7 and later and Ad-Free in earlier versions and on Android. They supplement the terms of the store that processes your subscription and any rights you have under applicable law.
Subscription service
An active subscription removes banner ads. In iOS version 1.2.7 and later, Savvy Time Pro also includes unlimited saved places and medium and large Compare Places widgets. Existing Ad-Free subscribers receive these Pro benefits when they update. This iOS update does not change the Android subscription service.
Basic time conversion remains free. On new installations of iOS version 1.2.7 and later, free users can save four places. One Place widgets and small Compare Places widgets are free. Existing saved places are preserved on upgrade and after subscription expiry. An upgraded installation with more than four saved places retains its existing saved-place allowance. That free allowance is fixed on upgrade: deleting places does not reduce it, and adding places while Pro is active does not increase it. Relaunching the app or letting Pro expire does not change the free allowance. Pro is required to add beyond the free allowance. Expiry does not delete saved places or widget configurations, but Pro widget sizes require active Pro access.
New installations of iOS version 1.2.7 and later receive a three-day ad-free welcome. This is not a subscription trial, does not start a subscription, and does not unlock the other Pro benefits.
The subscription is offered as:
- Ad-Free Monthly, billed every month; and
- Ad-Free Annual, billed every year.
The United States prices configured for this release are $0.99 per month and $7.99 per year. Prices, taxes, and currencies vary by storefront. The localized price and billing period displayed by the App Store or Google Play immediately before purchase control the transaction.
Free trial
The new monthly plan offered by iOS version 1.2.7 and later has no introductory free trial. The annual plan may include a seven-day introductory free trial for eligible customers. Older iOS offers and Android offers may have different introductory terms; the store purchase screen shows the terms that apply. Apple or Google determines eligibility based on the store account and available offer. A trial is not guaranteed and is not available when the purchase screen does not show it.
The iOS monthly no-trial plan is billed immediately at the localized price shown before confirmation. Unless canceled before an annual trial ends, the annual subscription automatically becomes a paid subscription at the localized price shown before confirmation. The store account is charged according to the store's billing rules.
Billing and automatic renewal
Apple processes subscriptions purchased in the iOS app, and Google processes subscriptions purchased in the Android app. Savvy Time does not receive full payment-card or bank-account details.
After a trial or paid period, the subscription renews automatically for the same billing period until it is canceled. The applicable store may charge shortly before or at renewal under its rules. Any price change is handled through the store's required notice and consent process.
Cancellation and management
Cancel through Manage Subscription in Savvy Time or through the App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancel before renewal to avoid the next charge. Deleting Savvy Time does not cancel a subscription.
After cancellation, subscription access normally remains available through the end of the already-paid period. If a trial is canceled, access continues only as provided by the applicable store. Savvy Time returns to the free, ad-supported experience after the store reports that the entitlement is no longer active.
Restore and supported accounts
Use Restore Purchases while signed in to the same App Store or Google Play account that made the purchase. Savvy Time has no app account system, so it does not promise automatic transfer of an iOS purchase to Android or an Android purchase to iOS.
Refunds, billing issues, and pending purchases
Apple or Google controls payment authorization, refunds, charge disputes, grace periods, and billing recovery under its policies and applicable law. A pending purchase does not activate subscription access until the store confirms it. Request a refund or resolve a payment issue through the store that processed the transaction. These terms do not limit any mandatory consumer rights.
Availability and changes
Savvy Time may change or discontinue future subscription offerings, subject to store rules and applicable law. A product change does not remove access for a period the store still reports as active. Temporary network, store, or validation failures may delay purchase, restoration, or status updates; the app will reconcile with the store when service is available.
Privacy
Apple or Google supplies purchase information needed to process the transaction. Savvy Time uses RevenueCat as a service provider to validate receipts or purchase tokens and manage the ad-free entitlement. See the Savvy Time Privacy Policy and RevenueCat Privacy Policy for more information.
Store terms and EULA
The applicable store's terms also govern the transaction. Google Play purchases are subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. For an Apple-distributed app, the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies unless App Store Connect identifies a valid custom EULA. These Subscription Terms supplement that EULA; applicable store terms or mandatory law control if they conflict with this document.
Contact
Questions about Savvy Time subscriptions or privacy requests can be submitted through the Savvy Time contact form. Do not send payment-card details through the contact form.
